David stood in the valley, and the giant looked tall,
Like the weight of the world was too much to fall.
Fear had them trembling, locked up in place,
Facing a battle too big for one face.

But a shepherd came forward with faith in his chest,
Not trusting his strength, but the Lord for the rest.

And the giant came down like dust in the sand.

The God who went with him still walks with His own.

He turns empty hands into weapons of war.
What looks like the end is a doorway to grace,
When the Savior steps in, fear loses its place.
