Lyrics

I came in need and bowed my head, to seek the Savior’s grace
He spoke of doing Heaven’s will and living in the Father’s place
Now every step I take is led by mercy from above
And I rest my soul in Jesus Christ, in His redeeming love

When trials come and hearts grow weak, His promise still is true
The Son was never left alone, and He will see me through
So I’ll keep walking by His word, with faith both sure and free
And trust the One who sent Him still is watching over me

When this old life is over and I lay my burden down
I’ll sing with all the saints in light, before the King of crown
For every step He’s led me, and every prayer He heard
The One who sent Him stayed with Him, just as spoken in His word
