Lyrics

I come with empty hands
And a restless heart
You know my every intent
Before I speak a word
I lost my way to your grace
But You are always near
You hold me close enough
To calm down my fear

So I lean into Your name
My problem is too great
Looking up to heaven
Just to hear me say

Keep me, as the apple of your eye
Hide me, in the shadow of your wings
Keep me, as the apple of your eye
Hide me, where Your mercy sings
(Keep me)

When my situation becomes too hard
And this world becomes too cold
You are my refuge
And My Way home
I take a break just
to clear my head
Lord I need help I'm
depending on you

I lean into Your name
My problem is too great
I'm Looking up to heaven
Just to hear me say

Keep me, as the apple of your eye
Hide me, in the shadow of your wings
Keep me, as the apple of your eye
Hide me, where Your mercy sings
(Keep me)

Cover me with your Grace
That I don't deserve
And Mercy is not getting
What we do deserve
Shelter my soul
Till my fear slips away
I will stay right here
I will trust and obey

Keep me, as the apple of your eye
Hide me, in the shadow of your wings
Keep me, as the apple of your eye
Hide me, where Your mercy sings
(Keep me)
