Lyrics

You are my portion, O Lord,
I have said that I would keep Your words.
Be merciful to me,
According to Your word.

At midnight I will rise,
To give thanks to You;
For each and every blessing,
That You have for me.

You are my portion, O Lord,
My shelter in the dark.
Be merciful to me,
According to Your word.
You are my portion, O Lord,
Your words are in my heart.

I’ve made my vow before You now,
Your words are in my heart.
Hold me close and keep me, Lord
Let my cry be heard.

At midnight I will rise,
When the world is fast asleep.
I will lift up my hands,
For the mercy that You keep.

You are my portion, O Lord,
My shelter in the dark.
Be merciful to me,
According to Your word.
You are my portion, O Lord,
Your words are in my heart.

For every blessing,
Every open door,
Every breath that I’m living,
I will praise You more.

You are my portion, O Lord,
I will trust and sing Your name.
Be merciful to me,
And I will praise Your name.
You are my portion, O Lord,
My shelter in the dark.
